Construction Set Of Drawings
Reco is able to take your idea from concept to preparing a set of drawings that allows general contractors and professional trades to bid on the project. After the bidding process, with the help of professional trades involved with a project, we prepare a set of construction drawings ready to be submitted to City Development and Building Services Center for building permits. Our professional drawings meet current Building Codes and standards; this shortens the review and processing time at the city hall and ensures that contractors can build the project with clear understanding of all the requirements and scope of work.
Do you have out of date digital drawings of your commercial space? Perfect, we offer site measurement services. When we completed the measurements, you’ll get as-built drawings .pdf and CAD formats for your updated files. In the as-built, we also include the electrical plan, sprinkler plan, power/communications plan, ceiling plan, furniture layout, and elevations.

Strategized planning is a key to the maximum functional use of the space. During this process, we analyze how your space will be used in the most efficient way to suit your needs. At the same time, we conduct a strategic fit to make sure the space is not only suitable for all of your required elements but also we make sure that it will pass local codes and regulations. When completed, we issue a space plan in .pdf and CAD format where you will see existing and new walls, doors, furniture, etc. We also recommend various lighting upgrades to help you to create the atmosphere and unique look of your space.
During the Design Development stage, we build a 3D Model for our clients to see the proposed design of the space. We create color renderings (realistic picture like images) of the spaces by showing them from different angles, so you know exactly it’s going to look and to feel like. The images of the approved and signed off design are also used during the construction phase so trades and a general contractor can see the many details in 3D as an addition to the standard set of construction drawings to minimize the number of possible mistakes from the very beginning of the construction.
Furniture Layout & Specifications
Furniture plans help our clients locate existing or potential new furniture in the space according to the client’s requirements and local regulations. When analyzing the best furniture location, we take into consideration zoning, existing lighting sources, noise issue, etc. and then we apply clearances to make sure that the space is easy to navigate and is visually appealing. We can recommend the type of furniture which will help your visitors, patrons or workers to your space to increase interaction, focus and concentrate on their task at hand, while decreasing their stress and other possible risks.
We offer custom millwork design and prepare all the millwork construction drawings and specifications required by the millwork shops in order to build it. We specialize in all types of commercial custom furniture including but not limited to reception desks, sales and working desks, custom displays, cabinets, and sitting furniture. Please note that building custom furniture is a process that requires time for design and site measure, material delivery and actual production.
We have 3 million dollars’ worth of the latest computerized machinery and systems for design, Design & Build, and millwork production. With a shop over 18,000 sqft and a team of experience carpenters, we are fit for any size of production. Our millwork designers work closely with our shop, and our production flexibility can easily meet our clients’ schedules.
